Beach description
The beach is 700 meters long and 10 to 50 meters wide. In the north of the island, the weather is unpredictable. In winter there are strong winds, and the ocean is stormy, and in the summer the waves are rather big. Swimming in this period is not worth it, but you can sunbathe. The sand is black, imported. On the right and left, the beach is fenced with stone breakwaters, but they do not protect too much from ocean waves. The beach was taken a fancy by surfers, but Hardin is not suitable for families with children.
The beach is very beautiful, adjacent to it is a botanical garden, where coconut and banana palms grow. Near the terraces flowers bloom year-round. There is even a small private waterfall. The beach has repeatedly earned the Blue Flag. Hardin has the necessary infrastructure: toilet, shower, sunbeds and umbrellas - a couple of 5 €. Rescuers work throughout the day. There are cafes and restaurants near the beach.
When is the best time to go
In Tenerife, you can relax all year round, but the most comfortable months for a beach holiday are July, August and September. In winter, the island is prone to precipitation and strong winds. The temperature of the ocean all year round is around +21 °C.
