La Tejita beach

La Tejita beach is located in a conservation area, so there are no parking lots nearby. The Montana Roja mountain protects the beach from the strong eastern wind. There are also strong waves and suitable wind from the ocean, so surfers, as well as lovers of jumping on the waves, loved the beach. There are sunbeds and umbrellas, rescuers work. But the rest of the infrastructure is not too developed. There are no changing cabins and showers or toilets. Although there are small stalls on La Tejita where you can buy drinks and a light snack.

This is a secluded beach, despite its impressive size. The lack of beach infrastructure does not make it popular. But on the beach you can often meet nudists. In the autumn-winter season, they prefer to gather in this place.

When is it better to go

In Tenerife, you can relax all year round, but the most comfortable months for a beach holiday are July, August and September. In winter, the island is prone to precipitation and strong winds. The temperature of the ocean all year round is around +21 °C.
