Kkotji beach
The Kkotji Beach, located in the west of Korea, is worth visiting just for the local legends about the stones that rise above the coast. The place is very popular among tourists, but the tides here are quite strong so you probably won't be able to find a spot near the water.

Beach description
The area is quite large: up to 3 km long and about 300 m wide. The entrance to the beach is free, so visitors come here to sunbathe, swim in the warm water, and some prefer to come during Winter to traditionally celebrate New Year by watching the sunrise.
Parking lots are located in the coastal area, and some light food is available for the tourists: local merchants always have seafood snacks and corn in their stock. Guest houses located near the beach provide accomodation and can organize fishing in the coastal area. The beautiful panorama, open from the coastline, is ideal for romantic dates and evening walks. And those who like extreme sports will definitely appreciate such activities as:

- water skiing;

- parachute sport;
- paraplanerism.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to travel to Korea comes in spring or fall. In the summer it is too hot in Korea, besides the air humidity reaches 80%, which cannot but intensify the negative effect of high temperature. But in spring and autumn the weather is warm, but still cool enough for a comfortable stay.
