Kavouri beach
Kavouri is a "semi-wild" beach located on the peninsula of the same name. Kavouri consists of two sections: Megalo and Micro Kavuri. The first, located south, is characterized by a large number of rocks, hilly relief and pebble surface. Next to it is a fashionable hotel with a swimming pool, sport fields and a first-class restaurant. Northern Mikro Kavouri is a tiny sandy beach with a beautiful marina and a smooth set of depth.

Kavouri has the following advantages:
- scarcity of people;
- plenty of greenery;
- beautiful landscapes (sea and mountains);
- decent public;
- clear and bright blue sea.
Kavouri is popular with travelers, climbers, athletes and introverts. Among its guests are EU citizens. It is not suitable for families with small children due to the rocky terrain and large waves. It can be reached by private transport or taxi.
Useful information: infrastructure is poorly developed in both sections of the beach. Before you go here on vacation, it is recommended to get sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as take food and water with you.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
