Eden beach
Eden is a municipal beach located in the vicinity of Athens. It has a large size, well-developed infrastructure and an interesting contingent. Families with children, students, schoolchildren, athletes, party people and active travelers relax here. Among its guests are residents of Athens and the local population.

Beach description
The beach is covered with soft golden sand mixed with pebbles and shells. It is decorated with slender palms, lush shrubs and well-chosen lighting. The clear sea of intense blue color, where you can swim until the end of November, deserves special attention. Another feature of Eden is the smooth increase in depth – it starts at 10-20 meters from the sea shore.
From any part of the beach you can enjoy a beautiful view of the smooth surface of the sea, the peaks of Hellas and tourist liners. Especially beautiful panoramas can be seen at dawn or at sunset. Eden is characterized by windy weather, absence of clouds and relatively large waves. The latter attract here surfers from all over Greece.

When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

Infrastructure
On the beach are sunbeds, garbage bins, awnings, shower stalls and free parking. Here works a small restaurant and bar with vintage furniture. In the vicinity of Edem are shops, souvenir shops, nightclubs, shopping centers. On the beach it is possible to meet street vendors. They sell Greek sweets, seafood and snacks. The price level here in general is lower than on most beaches in Greece. Lunch at a local restaurant will cost you 15-20 euros.

Pets are allowed on the territory of Eden. At rush hour, there are not enough sun loungers and umbrellas. If necessary, you can buy them at the local market. A few hundred meters from the beach there is a bus stop and a souvenir shop.
