Yabanaki beach
Yabanaki Beach is a sandy beach located 20 km south of Athens. It is famous for its soft sand, shallow sea and calm weather. Which automatically turns it into an ideal place for a family vacation. Beach description
The entire territory of the beach is covered with soft sand of cream color. Sometimes it contains shells or small pebbles. The bottom of the sea is soft. 99% of tourists do not hesitate to enter the water barefoot.
The sea shore opens a beautiful view of the mountains of Hellas, the islands of the Aegean Sea, Greek cities. Another decoration of the beach is an alley with tall trees, paved paths and cozy establishments.
The beach is located in a wide bay, protecting it from strong winds and large waves. It starts to fill with tourists at 8-9 am. and reaches the peak number of tourists in the afternoon. On weekends, it's hard to find a free sun lounger or a place in a bar.

When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

Admission to the beach for adults is 5 euro on weekends and 6 euro at weekends. Students, teens and older tourists pay 3.5 euro at any time. Young children (6 years old and less) are free.
