Vouliagmeni beach

85% of the beach is covered with fine sand, on which you want to walk barefoot over and over again. From the sea shore there is a great view of the white cliffs, thick forests and endless sea. Thanks to the local bay, there are no strong winds or large waves. But there are beautiful piers, clean air with aromas of pine and a transparent sea of emerald color. Smooth descent from the beach is one of the features: you can safely let the kids in here.
The local waters are home to many kinds of fish, squid and octopus. The local fishermen catch them and sell them to tavern owners. Another advantage of this place is its large size. The beach can accommodate over 1000 tourists and provide comfortable conditions for each of them.
Vouliagmeni is popular with businessmen, stars and public figures. This is a place of recreation for families with children, travelers, extreme tourists and fans of climbing. Sick people who want to improve their health with the help of thermal waters also come here. You can get to Vouliagmeni by bus from Athens, by boat, private car or taxi.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
