Amarinthos beach
Amarinthos Beach is a beautiful beach located in a picturesque bay of a picturesque town of the same name on the western outskirts of Central Evia, 8 km from Eretria and 30 km from Chalkida. Locals who also chose this beautiful corner of the island for a beach holiday call it Vatheia. The beach is relatively not very large, and there are plenty of vacationers in the season, which should be taken into account when planning a vacation here.

Beach description
The shore of Amarinfos is covered with dark sand and fine pebbles, which prevail on the bottom of the sea. The sea here is usually quiet, calm, strong waves and winds almost never occur. Extensive shallow waters and gentle entry into the water allow you to relax on this beach of Euboea, even with small children.
A well-developed infrastructure adds to the attractiveness of Amarinthos. On the shore you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, there are many cafes, taverns and seaside bars. You can escape from the heat not only in restaurants, but also in the shade of trees growing on the coast. When walking along the beach you can notice a beautiful church, and in the town with a rich historical past – to admire many ancient architectural sights (in particular, Orthodox shrines and ruins of ancient sanctuaries) and visit the folklore museum.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
