Beach description
Korasida Beach is located in the western part of the island, not far from the village of the same name. From all sides it is surrounded by hills covered with trees, leaving only a relatively wide strip of white sand about a kilometer long and creating a spectacle of rare beauty. There are several small stairs leading from the hills to the beach.
The beach can't boast of a well-developed infrastructure and a wide range of amenities, there are no sun loungers or umbrellas. However, people love this beach for its secluded atmosphere and scenery. A gentle descent into the water and sandy bottom will please tourists with young children.
The beach is popular with families, couples and single travellers. You get to the beach by rented car or a taxi.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

Infrastructure
The beach is not crowded, it is spacious and picturesque. As noted above, services on the beach are not diverse. Although there is a small tavern on the beach where you can try traditional Greek dishes and take a glass of cold drink during a hot afternoon.
There are few hotels in the vicinity of Karystos, but all of them are distinguished by hospitality, clean and tidy rooms with a full range of services for a comfortable stay.
