Pefki beach
Pefki is one of the longest beaches in North Euboea, considered one of the best in terms of developed infrastructure on the northern outskirts of the island. People come here for the most comfortable stay, both families with children and young people.

Beach description
Pefkos Beach extends for almost 4.5 km, so even though this place is especially popular, you can find a comfortable place with a minimum of people nearby. The extensive shoreline is surrounded by pine groves and covered with clean sand with predominant fine pebbles and stones, which can be found both on the shore and on the bottom of the sea. The waters here are shimmering in the sun in turquoise shades and are so transparent that you can even see the clear bottom. Entry into the water is gentle, with a long area of shallow water, and there are almost no large waves. That's why it's a paradise for having a vacation with little kids.
There are several rows of deck chairs and umbrellas on the extensive coastline, so there is plenty of space for a comfortable accommodation on Pefko. In the vicinity of the beach you can find up to a dozen hotels, various taverns and restaurants. There you can go to a boat tour from the coast. The best way to get to Pefko beach is from the port of Arkitsa.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
