Lichadonisia beach
Lichadonisia Beach is a secluded paradise in Greece, surrounded by ancient myths and impressive incredibly picturesque nature. It is located on the largest island of emerald placer of the archipelago of the same name, to the north-west of Euboea. Opposite are Kamena Vourla and Lichada, from which you can get to this Eden in the greek expanses only by sea in about 10-15 minutes. From the capital, this paradise is far by 2 hours.

Incredibly turquoise sea waters and fine golden sand on the shore, framed by emerald scatter of olive gardens and other vegetation on the shore and on the cliffs in the area, give Lichadonisia a view of the paradise beach from the advertisement of Bounty. The terrain is so beautiful and different from most of the beaches of Greece that it is often referred to as the “Greek Seychelles/Bahamas”.
Despite the certain remoteness from civilization, the infrastructure on the beach of Lichadonisia is well developed. Free sun loungers and umbrellas are available (but they are not enough in the season - there are always a lot of holidaymakers), there are beach bars and cafes, it is possible to rent banana boats and water crafts. In the area around the beach you can see abandoned fishermen's houses, and in the sea near the shore – the remains of a sunken ship that once stranded. The beach is perfect for snorkeling. You should also book a cruise on all the islands of this paradise archipelago.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
