Vythouri beach
Vythouri is a beautiful wild beach hidden in a small secluded bay near the northern slope of Mount Dirfi. This is an ideal place for those who want to escape from the noisy crowds, located in the north of the island of Euboea, next to Nea Artaki and not far from Glyfada. You can get to the coast by car, but you should not count on any signs of civilization. But the lack of infrastructure perfectly compensate for the fabulous landscapes.

Clenched between the cliffs in the emerald cut of plants a small bay with a wide sand and pebble shore seems to be a small Eden on the land of Euboea. The shore is covered with white sand mixed with prevailing white and dark pebbles, which can also be found on the bottom of the sea. Because of the high cliffs, the sun only warms up the area for a few hours, so the water is cooler here. Waves may occur frequently, and entry into the sea can be abrupt.
Not many people get here, so there are only a few people resting on the shore. There are no taverns or bars and you can only enjoy the sound of turquoise sea waves crashing against the coastal cliffs. The nearest shops and cafes can be found only 5 km away from Vythouri, so you should think about food supplies and facilities for a comfortable stay in advance. With kids, it's better to go to more developed beaches.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to visit Euboea for a beach vacation is during the summer months, specifically from June to September. During this period, the weather is most conducive for enjoying the island's beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.
