Chiliadou beach

Beach description
This is probably one of the most famous beaches on Euboea Island. It's a wide sand and pebble strip surrounded on all sides by high cliffs. The bottom is flat, the entry to the water is gentle, but after just a few steps it sharply reaches 2 meters, which is not very good for families with young children. Usually, there aren't many people here, so you can enjoy the privacy.
There are no deck chairs, umbrellas, showers or changing rooms for rent, but you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing vacation here, as well as go to the marine caves.
Chiliadou is a wild beach, but here you can see fans of surfing and nudists who spend their holidays in a separate bay on the north side. The beach is also chosen by couples in love who want to be alone and relax in a secluded corner with the purest water and romantic landscapes. The best way to get to the beach is by renting a car or taking a taxi: public transport doesn't go here, and the road is difficult and narrow.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

There are several restaurants located close to the beach where you can enjoy traditional Greek cuisine and other varied and delicious dishes. There is always friendly and competent staff.
However, the hotels closest to Chiliad are located in the village of Steni Dirfios, which is 12 km from the beach. You can book a room in such hotels as Nakaraki, Mousiko Pandoxeio, Hotel Steni.
