Rovies beach
One of the places for a great vacation is a clean and picturesque beach: such as Rovies Beach in the northeast of Euboea Island next to the village of the same name. It is a wide sand and pebble strip along which slender pine trees stretch on one side and the blue waters of the Vorios Evoikos bay on the other.

Beach description
Rovies is one of the most popular beaches in the north of the island: its crystal clear waters combined with the most beautiful views of tree-grown mountains attract many tourists all year round. It is located near the settlement of the same name, not far from the amenities.
Whit sand mixed with fine pebbles stands out in contrast with the blue sea. The entrance to the water of the Rovies beach is shallow and smooth, ideal for rest with kids. In order to hurt your feet it is better to wear special shoes for swimming.
The central part of the beach is the busiest: here you can rent sunbeds, waiters from nearby cafes will bring you drinks to the edge of the water. Less crowded area can be used for picnic and camping.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
