Bai Tru beach
If you are going on vacation with children to Vietnam and are torn between the desire to soak up the sun and entertain the children, then this beach is what you need. It is located on Hon Tre Island: from the mainland, Nha Trang, you can get here by boat or ferry, but most tourists choose an alternative route - a 320-meter cable car.

Bai Tru's a pretty quiet place: there are no strong waves or winds, the beach is covered with fine sand and due to the entrance fee the beach is kept clean. The cost is 1,100,000 dongs (a little over 3000 rubles). In addition to access to the beach, it includes a speedboat transfer, a chance to swim in the nearby pool and a buffet lunch. There are also free umbrellas, deck chairs and showers. From here, you can get to the large Vinpearl amusement park, an exotic fish aquarium, a shopping centre and an amphitheatre by taxi, motorbike or car. If you want to have fun without leaving the beach, you can rent catamarans, powerboats and beach volleyball courts. Nearby, there is a hotel of the same name, where rooms are available for booking all year round.
When is the best time to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
