Nam O beach
Nam O Beach is located in the Hoa Hiep Ward area, 17 kilometers from the city of Danang and very close to the small fishing village of the same name. Translated, this name means “distant” or “southern place”. It is not very popular with tourists because of its location and the lack of nearby hotels, but it is incredibly beautiful. If you don’t like to lie in the crowd and listen to the screams of merchants, then be sure to visit this place without taking time to travel.

Beach description
Like most Vietnamese beaches, Nam O beach is covered with golden fine sand. Entry into the water is quite smooth, and the ocean is calm for most of the year. But from November to February in the bay the wind streams increase: and at that time, you can surf here. For the rest of the time, the coast is quiet and not crowded. In shallow waters, there are large stones protruding from the water and covered with green: they add charm to the landscape, while the bottom remains clean. In the background you'll see mountains, palm groves and blossoming trees – all for free. Don't forget to take the blankets with you: there are no deck chairs or umbrellas on the beach. But if you get tired of the sun, you can always go to a restaurant located right on the shore on bamboo piles, where local cuisine is served.
When is it better to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
