Hon Chong beach
This beach is located within Nha Trang in five-minute drive from the main sights of the city - Po Nagar Cham Towers. You can get here from the center by bus number 4, and from the airport - only by taxi. However, judging by the reviews of tourists, adjusting to the schedule of public transport is difficult, so it’s easier and more convenient to rent a bike.

In comparison with the Central beach of Nha Trang, there is not crowded, although in the early morning for some reason there are many locals, who disperse by 9 o’clock and free up space for tourists. This lull is explained by the remoteness from the tourist area and poorly developed infrastructure (there are no way to find loungers and umbrellas here). Nevertheless, it will be possible to rent a room nearby or have a seafood snack in a cafe. There are not many places like this, but still they are.
The beach itself is a small stretch of sand, surrounded by large boulders. Actually, the most spectacular photos are obtained on these rocks. Reefs interfere with swimming, and guards even specifically monitor, that no one enter the water. When is the best time to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
