Cat Ba beach
Cat Ba beaches are 3 small beach areas - Cat Co 1, Cat Co 2 and Cat Co 3, located east of the town of Cat Ba Town, in Ha Long Bay. Beautiful landscape, clear calm sea and picturesque mountains make visiting this noisy and at the same time cozy beach unforgettable. You can get to it on foot from Cat Ba, after about a quarter of an hour.

The first and third areas of Cat Ba beaches are often filled with visitors - locals and visitors, unlike Cat Co 2, which is a more peaceful and secluded place. The beach areas of Cat Co 1, Cat Co 3 are connected by a path, along which it is pleasant to walk in the evening, watching the sea. Vacationers on any of the beach areas have the opportunity to rent a lounger, swim and sunbathe, visit local restaurants to try fresh seafood. Of the active types of beach rest, visitors can enjoy kayaking and water skiing.
When is it better to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
