Dat Doc beach
Dat Dock Beach is one of those places that attracts again and again even in the absence of service. For a good rest you need not so much: sun, sand and ocean. And for each of these points of Dat Doku, you can put only positive assessments. On the island of Kondao, where it is located, there are many beaches, and even if it is not the most popular, but definitely one of the best.

From the nearest town you can get here by bike: there's a separate parking lot for them. The long white sandy beach seems to be perfectly even over its entire length. There are rarely strong winds here, so the blue water is almost always calm. The descent is smooth enough and the bottom is perfectly clean: even though swimming is the only kind of leisure, but you won't have as much fun elsewhere. It is worth noting that about half of the beach area belongs to one of the best hotels on the island, but free access to the second one is available to all visitors. Unfortunately, as on the vast majority of beaches in Vietnam, it is not possible to rent umbrellas and deck chairs, as well as water equipment.
When is it better to go?
Since Vietnam is a country stretching from north to south, the climate in its different parts is slightly different. In the north, high humidity and temperature are observed from May to October, but in the remaining months it is slightly drier and cooler. In the South, the rainy season is longer, lasting from may to November, but even after it ends, the humidity does not subside. Therefore, it is better to go to popular resorts in the south of the country in winter or early spring.
