Elly beach
Sand and pebble beach located on the northern tip of the island. It is equipped with parasols and sun lounges. There are several cafes with local and international cuisine on its territory. There are large hotels, apartments, volleyball courts, a water park and a casino nearby. It also has a diving-tower in the adjacent area of the sea.

the Beach is located opposite the casino building. It can be reached within 5-10 minutes if you walk from the central or historical part of the city. It is popular among young people and couples. Also, many local residents rest on its territory. Ellie is distinguished by the average depth of the sea, beautiful landscapes, windless micro-climate and calm sea. It is ideal for the following leisure options:
- sunbathing;
- swimming in the Mediterranean Sea;
- food tasting event of chilled drinks and local dishes;
- sports recreation (volleyball, diving, water sports).
The length of Elly beach is 400 metres and the width is 35 metres. Near the beach sell special slippers, allowing to move freely on a large pebble. The level of noise is medium. World pop music hits and DJs are heard in local institutions.
A little life hack: there is a bar with wooden pathway in front of the beach. After 17:00, it has chair lounges for free. The main thing is not to forget to remind the waiters about it.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
