Katsuni beach
Katsuni is a sandy beach washed by the Mediterranean Sea. It is located in the east of the island, between Lardo and Kattavia regions. There is shallow water, so you will not be able to swim to a great depth and all the surroundings are covered with greenery.

Katzuni is called the "capital of family rest" due to the following features:
- the beach is covered with golden sand, which does not pose a threat to children's feet;
- calm waters – there are rarely large waves in this part of the Mediterranean;
- well-developed infrastructure – includes: beds, cafeteria, shower, changing cabins, restaurants and parking;
- there is wide choice of entertainments here. Including excursion programs, diving, surfing, mountaineering, water sports;
- silence – there are no major cities or nightclubs nearby. This ensures that Katzuni is always quiet and calm.
There are many English and Greek people on this beach. It is popular due to its large size, complete absence of stones and perfect cleanliness. Katzuni is the easiest beach to reach by private transport. You can also get there by taxi.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
