Calamos Beach is washed by the Mediterranean Sea. It is located 50 km from Rhodes and 5 km from Lindos. On its territory, there are no large hotels and big cities, which ensures silence, a large amount of free space and low prices.

- extreme sports (banana, water skiing, parachute flights).
Calafos Beach stretches 4 kilometers. It is covered with such a small pebbles that many people take it for sand. There are many beautiful stones and very warm water. Strong wind is almost absent, but there is a fast set of depth. Children who like to swim should be overseen, they should use inner tubes, or inflatable bracers.
In Places, sharp stones are caught on the ground. To avoid injuries, we recommend that you wear closed slippers, which are sold in local stores. There are no clubs and other places on the beach that attract drunkards. The atmosphere is as calm as possible. This can be accessed with a tour team, taxi or rental vehicle.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
