Beach description

Cramasti has 5 distinctive features:

  • 24 hour serfing ride 24 hours a day with strong wind and powerful waves;
  • there are almost no tourists here, which is beneficial for the purity of the sea;
  • cheap alcohol, dishes and chair lounges;
  • a desert beach with many beautiful stones;
  • many trees and benches.

In some places there is a smooth entry into the sea, in other locations the depth begins from the first meter. For comfortable movement along the beach you need closed slippers. Near the Kremasti Beach is the Second World War bunker.

This beach can be reached by bus, taxi and rental car. It will be pleasant to people who are looking for a quiet and peaceful place. If you prefer noisy companies in bars with night discos, it is better to search for another beach.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
