Traganou beach
Traganou is a sandy and pebble beach washed by the Mediterranean Sea. It is located 16 kilometers south of Rhodes. Picturesque mountains surround Traganou on three sides. This beach is ideal for lovers of peace and beautiful photos.

Traganou beach has 5 major advantages:

Traganou is positioned as a family holiday center. Its guests explore caves, dive, take sunbaths, try masterpieces of local cuisine. Photographers "catch" beautiful landscapes of bright blue sea and majestic rocks. You can take especially good pictures during sunset and dawn. They also have not forgotten about fishermen – they organize fishing of squid and other life.
Traganou can only be reached by taxi and private transport. If you choose the second option, be sure to visit the Psalidi Reserve. There enjoy natural beauty and are covered by the Greek heat.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
