Cala Dragunara is located in the outskirts of the resort of Alghero. It is problematic to get by public transport, so it is better to rent a car.
The coastline is wide, sandy, and the sea is of amazing colour: the colour changes from dark blue to turquoise. There are no crowds of tourists on the beach, which is its main advantage. It is possible to rest calmly with children or come in a noisy company.
The sea bottom is sandy, it is impossible to injure, there are no pits and undercurrents. The beach is surrounded by picturesque cliffs. The entry into the sea is convenient, the depth increases gradually. The water is crystal pure. Families with children are frequent guests here. Children gambol in shallow water, while adults enjoy panoramic views. The season lasts all summer, but due to the remoteness, there is not crowded.

In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy.
