Poetto stretched for 6 km. The coast is covered with snow-white sand and surrounded by picturesque vegetation. The sea is warm, the depth is gradually increasing over 50 m. The bottom is sandy, there are no jellyfish, underwater currents and pits.
It is possible to get to the beach by public transport, there are stops along the coastline, buses run. Each stop has its own meaning. The farther you go, the greater the chance, that there will be a calmer and more secluded place on the beach. It is also possible to rent a car or take a taxi to get to the beach. There is parking lot on the coastline.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
