Putzu Idu beach

Putzu Idu is a long, narrow, open sandy beach in San Vero Milis in the Oristano province of western Sardinia.

Beach description

Putzu Idu is located between the beaches of Mandriola and S'Arena Scado, surrounded by salines. The sand is white with a gray hue, fine, the water is clear, warm, pure, azure, turquoise. There is a small promenade, large paid parking lot for cars, campers with facilities for people with disabilities. Tickets are purchased at a parking machine - cost 20 cents / hour. On the beach there is a bar, where it is possible to eat tasty, drink coffee, other drinks and rent a bicycle, boats. Putzu-Idu is popular with locals, there are few tourists.

There are big waves and strong gusts of wind. This is a great beach for lovers of surfing, windsurfing, diving, snorkeling. It is possible to rent a yacht, pedalo. Boats depart from the beach to Mal di Ventre - the famous wild island, landing from the water. Fishing tourism prosper in Putzu Idu, boat trips to unusual reefs are made.
