It is not easy to get to the beach. It could be a long walking route from Balnea, Cala Fuili. The second option is the sea route. It is possible to get from the port of Cala Gonone or the nearby Marina di Orosei beach by launch, boat.
Cala Luna beach is very popular in the summer, the peak season is July-September. At this time, there are many tourists and locals on the beach. There is a small coastal summer cafe-bar, it is possible to rent sunbeds. Features of the beach are the presence of large grottoes in the north of Cala Luna and a mild Mediterranean climate.
