Beach description
The sea here is shallow, warm; clear, azure water, awarded the UNESCO "Blue Flag" for purity. Costa Rei is a popular beach with tourists with paid and free areas. This is an ideal beach for rest with children - the depth increases gradually, the sea is shallow. To get to Costa Rei, it is necessary to pre-book a car in one of the transport companies, that provide services. In summer, to take a place near the water, it is necessary to arrive early, in autumn and spring there are fewer people.
There is the necessary tourist infrastructure. On paid areas it is possible to rent a parasol, sunbed. There is a cafe-bar on the paid beach, where it is possible to have a snack, drink coffee or a cocktail. There are a lot of space, tables, chairs are located under the awnings. Nearby there is a playground, garbage cans, an outdoor shower with fresh water. Near the beach (2 - 3 minutes on foot) there is parking lot for cars - paid in the summer, the rest of the year is free.
For lovers of active rest, catamarans, rubber inflatable boats are provided for rent. Here it is possible to dive with scuba gear, look at various underwater flora and fauna. In addition to diving, snorkelling and windsurfing are popular here. Of the attractions not far from Costa Rei there are shipwrecks from World War II. A large beach allows to take places for everyone, play volleyball, beach tennis, there are cliffs, rocks.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
