Mari Ermi beach

The entire coastline is covered with unusual grainy white rocks, that play with different colours, depending on the time of day. The main component of the rocks is quartz, which was polished for millennia by the environment and acquired smooth edges. With a choppy wind, it seems, that salt dunes are formed from granular particles. It’s hard to walk on such a surface - the foot is wallowing. The beach belongs to the conservation area - quartz grains are not allowed to be taken out.

The water is crystal pure, clear, green-blue; the sea is shallow, the coastline is wide, long. The bottom is shallow, the depth increases gradually. Marie Ermie is ideal for rest with a child. This is a popular place with tourists during the summer months of the year. Near the beach there is spacious parking lot, campground. It is calm at any time of the day.

There is no infrastructure - it is necessary to bring along everything necessary. It is possible to get to the beach by a rented or personal car. Marie Ermie is a 10-minute drive from the city of Oristano. The beach is popular with lovers of surfing, windsurfing and other active water sports.

In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy.
