Ashwem beach

Ashwem is a quite beach in North Goa, located between Mandrem and Morjim. Is good for a secluded holiday in the circle of loved ones.

Beach description

Wide and long shore is covered with white and grey sand, sometimes there are volcanic stones. The beach is subject to tides. Shallow Arabian sea, warm water and even bottom make this beach perfect for tourists with children. There is a natural shadow, grow high palms. The beach is clean, garbage is regularly cleaned by the staff of the first line hotels.

Infrastructure is minimally developed, the resort is not very crowded. There are not many guesthouses, bungalow and hotels, but there are many cafes with cheap food, bars and shops. Near them there are sunbeds and umbrellas, which are used free of charge by guests. There is no nightlife on the beach, the only entertainment is to watch the breathtaking sunset. The beach is public and the entrance is free. Sellers of souvenirs are not allowed on the territory of the resort. The local landmark is La Plage street full of restaurants where tourists can try dishes from all over the world.

When is it better to go

The best time to spend holidays on the beaches of India – is from November to March. These months have less rainfall, humidity is 60 - 70%, and the water temperature in the Indian Ocean is +29 degrees. There are many vacationers throughout the year.
