Beach description
The shore up to 100 m wide is covered with fine white sand, comfortable for bare feet. The descent into the water is gentle, the bottom is sandy, the water is muddy. The sea is restless. Near the coast, underwater currents form. It is necessary to be especially vigilant when resting with children. On the territory there are sun loungers and umbrellas, rental boats and water equipment for parasailing and diving, restaurants, snack bars and bars.
Miramar is crowded, especially on weekends. Among vacationers there are many residents of Panaji, gathering on the shore with noisy companies or large families. Relatively calm in the early morning and afternoon. A couple of hours before sunset, the beach is again filled with vacationers. Tourists are much less than local, although there are many nearby hotels of different levels of comfort.
Miramar often hosts festivals, holiday shows, and concerts. Near the beach there is a magnificent park with playgrounds and attractions for children. It is worth visiting the Dhepme College of Arts and Sciences, a memorial in honor of the first ministers of Goa and the Old Town.
