Benaulim beach
Benaulim is one of the best beaches in the central part of Goa, about which a beautiful Indian legend is composed. Locals believe that the arrow of the god Vishnu once fell on this place of the coast and turned the ocean into a divine oasis.

Beach description
On Benaulim there are all conditions for a carefree and relaxing holiday. It is a nice spacious beach. Here, a very convenient, gentle entry into the water, usually there is a complete absence of waves. Local sand is often compared with starch, it is also white, soft and creaking. Thanks to this unusual sound it is called “singing”. The beach is clean, there is regular cleaning.
Benaulim – a quiet place near the tree of the same name, the sleepy rhythm of life which is felt on the beach. The calm rhythm of the daytime hours and the absence of any entertainment in the evening makes this stretch of coast ideal for tourists who prefer a quiet and relaxing holiday. While this place in Goa is not too popular, there are never many vacationers.
When is it better to go
The best time to spend holidays on the beaches of India – is from November to March. These months have less rainfall, humidity is 60 - 70%, and the water temperature in the Indian Ocean is +29 degrees. There are many vacationers throughout the year. Infrastructure
There are several shekels on the beach, sun loungers and umbrellas are installed near them. It is possible to rent equipment for water sports, as well as boats. One of the popular local attractions is dolphin watching.
Benaulim infrastructure allows you to be on the beach with the necessary comfort. It has everything that tourists may need to relax on the coast. You can rent housing in numerous guest houses located right on the beach.
Near the beach is the village of the same name. It houses the Church of St. John the Baptist, which is not only a cultural attraction, but also serves as a venue for a bright celebration in honor of this saint.
There is nothing more interesting in the district, but it is easy to get to other areas of the state from here. For example, to Margao – the largest city closest to the beach, it is only 7 km away.
