Cola beach
Cola Beach is an unusually picturesque stretch of coastline that stretches between the rocky ledges with two “crescents."

Beach description
Cola is two sandy bays separated by a rocky cape. The beach is located between the ocean and the freshwater lake. Palm trees rise around, small bungalows are scattered here and there. On the edges of the Cola are rocky ledges, acting as natural breakwaters. Many large and medium-sized stones are also found in water, but swimming in the sea is quite comfortable here. The depth grows quite quickly, often there are big waves.
On this beach you can relax with children, although the sea coast is not too convenient for bathing kids. But the lake is a great alternative, children of all ages enjoy splashing in its warm and safe shallow water.
When is it better to go
The best time to spend holidays on the beaches of India – is from November to March. These months have less rainfall, humidity is 60 - 70%, and the water temperature in the Indian Ocean is +29 degrees. There are many vacationers throughout the year. A massive flow of tourists begins in mid-autumn and lasts until the end of winter

Infrastructure
On the Cola beach, there is everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Local shek offers a variety of dishes and drinks, as well as the possibility of free use of sunbeds and tents. There is a toilet in the cafe, but there is no soul (it is successfully replaced by a fresh lake).
There are not many options for rental housing on Kola, there are no expensive hotels nearby. Bungalow houses are located right on the beach. Three budget hotels work here.
The beach itself is a natural attraction of South Goa, there are no others nearby. Getting to Cola is a real adventure. Tourists prefer not to stay here for a long period, since it is not the best place in the state for a beach holiday, but the surrounding landscape and atmosphere deserve a must visit.

How to get there
You can come here only by personal transport, and you need to be prepared to overcome some part of the path along a dirt road. Spontaneous parking is located on a hilltop and the beach below. You will have to go down a steep path-ladder, carved into the rock. It will be extremely difficult to overcome this distance for a person with a not very good physical shape. This way is also not suitable for transporting strollers.
