Beach description
Stretching over 800 meters, the wide expanse of Cansaulim Beach is adorned with pristine, light sand that crunches satisfyingly beneath your feet. Towering palm trees line the coast, creating a picturesque tropical backdrop. The sea welcomes you with its gentle entrance and sandy bottom, while the waters remain crystal clear. Cansaulim is particularly family-friendly, offering a serene and uncrowded environment perfect for children. The beach provides ample space for play without the worry of high waves. However, it is prudent to supervise children while swimming due to the presence of jellyfish in the coastal waters, which can cause stings.
The beach is an ideal spot for a variety of activities, including swimming, sunbathing, and a range of outdoor sports. For the adventurous, rental points dot the shoreline, offering equipment for catamarans, water skiing, diving, and parasailing. While sunbeds are scarce, many vacationers prefer to lay their rugs directly on the sand, embracing the natural setting. The shore is a melting pot of diversity, frequented by tourists of all ages and local fishermen alike.
In close proximity to the beach, visitors will find an array of accommodations, ranging from hotels to hostels, as well as shops and culinary delights. The majority of the gastronomic establishments are seasonal, operating primarily during the peak season from October to May. They close for the summer months, which are marked by monsoon rains and storms.
