Dona Paula beach
Dona Paula – a beach in the bay of the same name on the north coast of Goa. The beach bears the name of the daughter of an influential governor who lived in these places in time immemorial and died from unhappy love. 500 meters from the beach there is a mansion where a family of a cruel governor lived who separated his daughter from her lover.

Beach description
The beach is covered with sand and stones. The entrance to the water is steep, the bottom is sandy-rocky and uneven. The water is cloudy. The beach is unsuitable for swimming. Vacationers take sunbaths, meditate and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Dona Paula beach is quite crowded, as exhibitions are often held here.
