Siridao beach

Siridao – one of the beaches of North Goa, which is popular with locals. This place is not very suitable for swimming, but it is ideal for relaxing by the water. Siridao takes 5th place among the best beaches of Panaji.

Beach description

The beach is not a very long and rather narrow strip of sand and stones. Large boulders and smaller stones are found in the water. Siridao is a very picturesque place, that's why people come here for unity with nature and a quiet contemplative vacation on the coast.

Most tourists stay here for a short time. One or a couple of days is enough to:

  • enjoy the local scenery;
  • swim in the sea;
  • put together a rich collection of shells;
  • explore the surrounding attractions;
  • imbued with local peace and tranquility.

There is everything you need to relax on the beach. Several shekels offer a varied menu and the ability to use sun loungers and parasols. Right at the edge of the beach is a palm grove – a favorite picnic place among residents of nearby cities. The beach is also the venue for several religious holidays, which tourists can take part in.

There are few hotels on the beach: just a couple of mid-range hotels and several bungalow type hotels.

When is it better to go

The best time to spend holidays on the beaches of India – is from November to March. These months have less rainfall, humidity is 60 - 70%, and the water temperature in the Indian Ocean is +29 degrees. There are many vacationers throughout the year. A massive flow of tourists begins in mid-autumn and lasts until the end of winter
