Baga beach
Baga is the most famous resort in North Goa. There are a lot pf nightclubs, discos and other places. The resort is popular among tourists all over the world and locals.

Beach description
Baga is located in North Goa between Mapuza and state capital Panaja. In the South, the beach is bordered by Calangute Beach, in the North by Anjuna Beach, divided by the Baga river. Children like swim here. The peculiarity of the area are black stones at the mouth of the river, where water boils, creating a spectacular view.
Baga is the cleanest beach of North Goa. The lowering of the bottom is smooth, which is suitable for tourists who come with children. Shore is covered with fine brownish sand. Landscapes are diverse.
When is it better to go
The best time to spend holidays on the beaches of India – is from November to March. These months have less rainfall, humidity is 60 - 70%, and the water temperature in the Indian Ocean is +29 degrees. There are many vacationers throughout the year. Baga has a lot of activities and nightclubs. Tourists come to have fun in nightclubs, visit discos and beach parties, which end only in the morning.

- fishing;
- wakeboarding;
- kite surfing;
- windsurfing;
- surfing.
Because of the strong flow it's impossible to dive with mask to see underwater flora and fauna.
On the shore there are many cafes and bars with outdoor verandas and a large selection of dishes, fine dining options include Italian, Indian and French restaurants. The popular local dish is barbecue fish. Prices are goos, food is tasty. Evening market works every Saturday.
Tourists rent an accomodation in hotels of different comfort rate. Sunglasses, clothes, souvenirs and beach accessories are available in various shops located in the center or on the shore. The resort is crowded, noisy round the clock.
