Beach description
The beach is covered with a thick layer of fine sand, which is pleasant to walk barefoot. It is better to enter the water in special shoes since there are many small pebbles at the water's edge, and sharp corals hide in the sandy bottom. The descent is gentle. The sea is calm thanks to the long breakwaters made of concrete and stones.

There are three lifeguard towers, garbage collection points. Facilities for the comfort of people with disabilities are provided.
Bat Galim beach is extremely popular. You can meet families with young children, youth, senior citizens among vacationers. There are many locals and tourists. It is especially crowded at the weekend. However, due to the impressive area, there is no sense of crowding too much. There are all conditions for playing sports, games and relaxing holidays. A children's playground with slides, swings and a pipe is equipped. Policemen ensuring peace and security of vacationers and warning minor offenses are on duty on the beach. The beach can be reached on foot if the hotel is in Bat Galim, by public transport or by rental car from other areas. A parking lot is available near the beach.
When is it better to go
Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers.
