Hilton beach

The coastline, beyond which the reef is located, is covered with fine light sand. The entrance to the sea is flat, the bottom is smooth and sandy. The long sandbank is convenient for bathing children. There is a breakwater, thanks to which the sea in this part of the coast is calm, but surfers often start from the reef, which makes swimming unsafe.

Hilton is one of the most crowded beaches of Tel Aviv. Among vacationers there are locals and tourists from Europe. There are many young people. The northern section is reserved for tourists with dogs; there is a resting place for representatives of sexual minorities nearby. There are no nudists at Hilton.

Paid umbrellas and sun loungers are installed on the territory, there are changing cabins, showers, and toilets. Sports and children playgrounds are available. There are rental points for catamarans, jet skis, boats, kayaks. Wheelchair ramp is available. There is a surfing club, several cafes and restaurants. In the evenings, the area is highlighted. There is free parking near the beach.

Hilton Beach can be reached by public transport or a rented car.

When is it better to go

Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
