Coral Beach

The beach has sunshades. No more beach infrastructure is provided. No more beach infrastructure is provided. It is advisable to bring food and drinks with you. Entrance to the beach costs 35 shekels for adults and 21 shekels for children.

The beach is quite crowded. There was no space under the sun awnings by noon. There are many tourists and vacationers from other regions of Israel among the visitors.

A diving center and shops selling diving equipment are on the shore. There is a rental equipment for water equipment. The beach also has conditions for kayaking, kitesurfing, windsurfing, scuba diving.

For descent into the sea, wooden walkways are provided with wide steps, along which you can immerse yourself in the water waist-high. This precaution has been taken to preserve the reef in its original form. Do not touch or break coral processes.

Coral reef is especially interesting for divers. About thousand species of endemic representatives of the Red Sea fauna — jellyfish, crustaceans, octopuses, tropical fish, moray eels, stingrays, sea urchins — live in multi-colored thickets of coral. It’s forbidden to feed fish, violators face a large fine.

When is it better to go

Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
