Sironit beach

Stretching along the promenade, the long and wide sandy strip of the beach is conditionally divided into two parts: Sironit Alef and Sironit Bat. Fine light sand does not irritate the skin and is comfortable for bare feet. The entrance to the sea is flat, the bottom is smooth and sandy. Breakwaters, thanks to which the sea is calm, are installed in the water. The beach is open year-round from 6:30 a.m. to sunset.

The territory is perfectly equiped. There are rental points for sunbeds and umbrellas, boats, surfboards. Showers and toilets, sports fields for beach volleyball, five-a-side football are equipped, exercise machines are installed. There are two restaurants with regional cuisine. Themed parties are often held on the beach in the evenings.

It is comfortable to rest with children on the Sironit beach. Safe descent into the water, a long sandbank and a warm calm sea are suitable for bathing young children.

Sironit is one of the most popular and crowded beaches of the city, where locals and tourists relax. Rescuers are on duty at two towers in different parts of the beach, there is a first-aid post and a police station nearby.

You can get to the beach by going down the stairs from the promenade, or by the high-speed elevator equipped in Sironit-Bat. You can get to the beach by rented car or bus number 13. Paid parking is available nearby.

When is it better to go

Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
