Neve Yam beach

The coast surrounded by sand dunes is covered with fine light sand. The descent into the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy, dotted with shells. On the north side of the bay is a stone cape, terraces descending to the water. There are several shallow natural stone pools. There are no rental points for umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as showers and toilets on the beach. Near Neve Yam there is a water park with attractions, slides, pools.

A restaurant specializing in Israeli cuisine is open on the beach. The menu offers traditional dishes of fish and seafood, jellied meat, hamin, crepe. On the territory there is a mini-museum, the exposition of which presents a collection of ancient anchors made of wood and stone, fishing tackle and household items from the Roman period.

Entrance to the Neve Yam is paid. You can get on a rented car from Haifa on the navigator.

When is it better to go

Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
