Beach description
On the territory there are no beach infrastructure facilities, no lifeguards. For recreation, a small stretch of shore, covered with white and fine sand, is available. Camping areas with tents, tables and toilets are equipped in an accessible area. There is an opportunity to do parasailing or paragliding.
Habonim is popular, but there are few vacationers because of the remoteness of the beach and some restrictions of the national park. The ban on swimming does not stop some tourists.
You can get to Habonim by renting a car using the navigator.
When is it better to go
Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
