Dado beach

The long sandy coastline is well equipped for relaxation. The beach has:

• sunshades,
• showers and toilets,
• changing rooms,
• special devices for washing feet,
• fountains with drinking water,
• a place with exercise machines,
• barbecue area.

The descent into the water is gentle. There are sometimes coral on the sandy bottom under the feet. The water is calm thanks to a stone breakwater. All conditions for safe swimming are created. Equipped towers with rescuers and a first-aid post work here. There are rental points for sunbeds, umbrellas, water equipment for diving, snorkeling, parasailing and surfing. You can also rent different swimming facilities.

At the junction of Dado beach with Carmel beach, there is a green area with a garden and lawn. There are several cafes serving regional dishes combined with soft drinks, coffee and tea.

Dado beach is especially crowded at weekends. Here townspeople and tourists from different countries rest. There are a lot of young people, as well as families with children.

You can get to Dado beach by public transport and rental car.

When is it better to go

Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
