Beach description
The coastline is covered with fine golden sand. The entry into the water is sloping, the bottom is sandy. Water is calm. Waves can rise from speed boats ticking away past the beach.
On the territory rent of umbrellas and chaise lounges is provided, cabins for changing clothes, showers and toilets are equipped. There is a bar. There is a marina where you can rent a catamaran, jet ski, kayak or boat with a transparent bottom. Available entertainments include:
- water skiing,
- parasailing,
- kitesurfing,
- windsurfing ,
- yacht and pleasure cruises boats on the Gulf of Eilat.
The Hananya Beach is always crowded. Resting with children is uncomfortable due to noise.
When is it better to go
Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
