Mineral beach
Mineral beach is a highlight of the northern Dead Sea basin. It was founded in 1996 by members of the Mitzpe Shalem kibbutz and named after natural basins with hot sulphuric waters.

Beach description
The beach is equipped with:
- a comfortable paved pathway leading directly to the shore,
- showers,
- changing stalls,
- washrooms.
In addition, Mineral beach guarantees the services of paramedics and licensed lifeguards. All beach pools, including the children's and the sulphur ones, are licensed and are periodically inspected.
The recreation area design, including parasols, is based on the use of environmentally friendly materials. On the shore, in special tanks, there are precious Dead Sea muds, which are revitalizing the skin and hair.
Besides mud treatment and swimming in the Dead Sea, the Mineral Beach Spa offers several massages and special treatments for pregnant women, as well as seminars on shiatsu and yoga for a small fee.
When is the best time to go?
Israel is located in a subtropical climate zone of the Mediterranean type, the characteristic features of which are mild winters and very hot summers. The most favorable time for a beach holiday in the Mediterranean and Red Seas is spring (April-May) and autumn (September, October, early November). On the Dead Sea you can relax all year round. The water temperature in winter does not fall below + 20 °C, but in the summer it is unbearably hot there.
