Elinta beach
Elinta, translated from the Greek as "sea", is one of the most beautiful beaches of Chios, untouched by civilization. It is located in the western part of the island, only 25 km from the capital. Thanks to the large enclosed harbor, the beach is completely protected from the wind and is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and other beach activities.

Beach description
Elinta is known as a quiet secluded beach with beautiful beaches, which will not leave anyone indifferent who dreams of privacy. The coast of Elint is covered with fine pebbles and sand and has a length of about 300 meters. All sides of the beach is surrounded by mountains and pine trees which are grown to the very water. The entrance to the water is gentle, it quickly goes to the depth on the right side of the beach , the sea is clean, transparent, deep. The standard beach infrastructure is completely absent on the beach. When going on vacation to the beach of Elint, tourists should take water, food, a sun umbrella and other necessary equipment with them.
Due to the lack of regular transport links, you can get to the beach of Elint only in private way: by car, motorcycle or yacht. There are several picturesque villages not far from the beach: Avgonima and Anavatos, as well as the remains of an ancient Roman ship.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
