Beach description

Tigani is a white pebbly beach with crystal clear blue waters and a gentle sea bottom. It is also important to note that the water in the sea even in the hottest summer day is pleasant and cool. As this part of Chios is isolated by high cliffs, Tigani is ideal for a quiet swim away from the noisy of the island's popular beaches. In summer, some tourists who prefer privacy, choose Tigani for camping. The beach his also suitable for fishing, snorkeling and diving, and the underwater scenery in this part of the Aegean Sea is very interesting.

You can easily reach Tigani by scooter or car, and public transport is not available in this part of the island. Many tourists and locals come to the coast to enjoy the spectacular sunset and sunset views of the historic island of Psarra. Tigani is the ideal place for those who want to rest without any tourist services.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
