Trahili beach
Trahili is a secluded natural beach that will appeal to anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday. It is located 21 km from Chios and 5 km from the village of Lithi, surrounded by hills covered with pine trees. Public transport does not go to the beach, so you can reach it by land - by car, taxi, motorcycle or by sea - on a yacht.

The sea in the Trahili area is clean and deep, and the beach is open with sandy-pebble surface. The coastal area of the beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, sailing.
Trahili is located in the isolated area, there are no standard touristic facilities in its surroundings – cafes, shops, other infrastructure. Therefore, planning to spend the whole day on the beach, it is worth to stock up on your own with food, water and beach equipment, buying it in the neighboring town. There are several historical attractions not far from the beach, which are worth for tourists to be seeing: Nea Moni Monastery and hiking road Fa Lithi are built in the middle of the XIX century.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
